Sr. Data Scientist
Job Description : Sr. Data Scientist Required We are looking for a candidate with 6+ years of experience in Data Science to join our team as a Senior Data Scientist, with education (Masters degree or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. They should also have the following abilities:
- Education (Masters degree or higher) in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of professional experience in predictive modelling and analysis, preferably customer journey and targeting to drive business outcomes
- Proficiency in Python and SQL especially for data wrangling, analysis, and modelling
- Expertise in experiment design and methods, from A/B tests to quasi-experiments
- Excellent problem solving, analytic skills, and written and oral English communication skills, stakeholder/expectation management skills
- Familiar with most of the standard methods: linear regression, logistic regression, regularized regressions, nearest neighbours, k-means, DBSCAN, collaborative filtering, decision trees, random forests, extreme gradient boosting, support vector machines and deep neural networks for very large datasets
- Experience with Tensorflow, Pyspark (Dataframe, SQL & MLLib) and sklearn
Preferred - Should have deployed models in production or know how it is done.
- Familiarity with HDFS and Hive is a plus
- Experience with Kubeflow or other docker/container based solutions.
- Experience with Pytorch, torch-serve, MLFlow, TFX, Tensorflow-Serving is a plus
