Pepper Content ( is building a global content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 75+ content verticals and 150+ content categories. Over the past 5 years, over 100,000+ freelance content creators have applied to be part of the Pepper network of which we work with the top 5% talent, and on the other end - we work with over 2500+ customers like Amazon, Adobe, Google, HDFC Bank, Adani, and the majority of the startup ecosystem.
We are on the path to building a global on-demand content marketplace platform that allows for
collaboration, discovery and upskilling for all our creators. Now we are in a rapid expansion phase to enter into more content service offerings, engage a wide spectrum of content creators and at the same time, scale up our existing services.
At Pepper Content, you will be:
- Obtains revenue by processing invoices, resolving missed payments, updating financial records, and effectively supervising staff engaged in similar activities.
- Accomplishes accounts receivable human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meets accounts receivable financial standards by providing annual accounts receivable budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
- Collects accounts by contacting customers referred by clerks; investigating circumstances of non-payment; negotiating and resolving conflicts; expediting payment.
- Supports financial planning by forecasting cash.
- Updates receivables by coordinating and monitoring daily sales order processing and bank remittance transactions.
- Maintains financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.
- Maintains accounting ledgers by posting monthly account transactions.
You should apply if you have/are:
- B.Com / M.Com or higher degrees in accounting & finance
- Relevant experience (min 2 years) in accounts receivable & basic accounting (Team Leader experience will be a plus)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (min 2 years)
- Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, G-sheet and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (B2B exposure will be a plus)
- Matured in his / her demeanor and high on EQ, ability to deal with difficult conversations
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
