Ahmedabad Export Import Development Association (AEIDA) is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Export Executive. AEIDA is a non-profit organization that promotes the growth and development of export and import businesses in Ahmedabad, India. As an Export Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's mission by facilitating and managing export operations for our members.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the export process, including documentation, logistics, and compliance. You will work closely with AEIDA members, freight forwarders, customs agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient export operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international trade regulations, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the export process for AEIDA members
• Prepare and review export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping instructions
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations
• Collaborate with freight forwarders and customs agents to arrange for the transportation and clearance of goods
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues or delays that may arise
• Maintain accurate records of export activities
• Provide guidance and support to AEIDA members regarding export-related matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain management, or a related field
• Strong understanding of international trade laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
• Knowledge of customs procedures and documentation
• Experience with export documentation software is a plus
