Senior Backend Developer (Node.js/Nest.js)

As we expand our team, we are seeking a talented Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js/Nest.js to join us in our mission. Position Overview: As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend solutions to support our diverse range of projects. You will leverage your expertise in Node.js/Nest.js, RESTful API development, SQL, and Postgres to create scalable and efficient backend systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement backend solutions using Node.js/Nest.js framework. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend systems. Utilize SQL and Postgres databases to manage and optimize data storage and retrieval processes. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend functionality into web applications. Explore and implement secondary skills such as Graph QL, JavaScript, TypeScript, Azure, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance backend infrastructure and performance. Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are maintained across all backend development activities. Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall growth and success of the development team. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Node.js/Nest.js. Proven track record of building scalable and high-performance backend systems. Strong proficiency in RESTful API design and development. Extensive experience with SQL databases, such as Postgres, for data management and manipulation. Familiarity with Graph QL, JavaScript, TypeScript, Azure, and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
