Experience:
12 to 17 Years Technical Stack: AWS, Cloud Architecture, DevOps, Automation, CI/CD, Cloud Security, Performance Optimisation What You’ll Do? Cloud Infrastructure Strategy and Design: • Develop a comprehensive cloud strategy that outlines how cloud technologies can support the organization's long-term goals and initiatives. • Create high-level and detailed cloud architecture diagrams, including network diagrams, data flow diagrams, and component interactions. • Define architecture patterns, best practices, and standards for application development and deployment. • Design and implement strategies for standardized organizational control and standards, centralized logging & monitoring, hybrid architectures, migration, backups and failover, and disaster recovery mechanisms. • Design architectures that ensure high availability and fault tolerance by leveraging features like load balancing, auto-scaling, and multi-AZ and multi-region deployments. • Design and manage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to ensure optimal performance, cost efficiency, and high availability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient cloud architecture solutions. DevOps, Infrastructure Automation & CI/CD: • Design IaC templates and blueprints using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure deployments. • Enforce and inculcate infrastructure as code (IaC) among the teams and establish guidelines for maintaining and evolving IaC templates over time. • Design configuration management tools to discover, manage and track changes to cloud resources. Security and Compliance: • Design and implement security strategies, best practices and standards in the cloud environment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. • Implement robust security measures, such as data encryption, access controls, and multi-factor authentication, to safeguard sensitive information. • Design SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) to provide a centralized security solution to detect, prevent, and remediate threats and incidents. Performance Optimization and Cost Management: • Define performance metrics and thresholds for monitoring and ensure the cloud solution meets performance requirements. • Optimize architecture and configurations to achieve optimal performance. • Provide cost-effective solutions and proactive monitoring of cloud usage and costs, recommending strategies to optimize spending without compromising performance or security. • Experience with scaling resources as per the demand to maintain availability, performance and cost-efficiency. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: • Document architectural decisions, designs, and rationale for future reference and knowledge sharing. • Mentor, groom, and share knowledge and expertise with team members to promote a collaborative learning environment. Stay Current with Cloud Technologies: • Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing, evaluating their potential benefits for the organization. • Ability to learn and adapt new tools and technologies and infuse them into the current ecosystem.
