Your Role Do you love to delight our customers with your technical knowledge and enjoy working with engineers on complex problems This role may be for you. As our new API Support person, you manage the day to day contacts and inquiries that are received from our API integration partner and customers using our API. You excel at building relationships, enjoy representing a great company and you are a highly effective technical problem solver and have strong knowledge on APIs. Your Responsibilities You assist integration partners and / or API customers with our application program interface (API) You are a strong data driven investigator You serve as a liaison between our integration partners and API product management You work daily in at least one programming language, guiding customers that are implementing our APIs You act as troubleshooter for production issues related to our API and document processing You are comfortable using & writing coding samples and snippets of code to communicate with API integration partners, and eventually get code examples published on the developer portal. You handle field API support emails and calls about API features, functionality, and integrations You will join calls and (remote) meetings with integration partners every now and then to understand API requirements and / or provide integration consultancy Who are we looking for You have a BS/BA degree, attended a coding bootcamp, done significant self learning or have a background in related work experience in technical (API) support engineering. You can demonstrate and explain API knowledge You dont mind working in US and / or EU time zones every now and then You take ownership of customer feedback and make sure API support tickets are answered in a timely fashion You have demonstrated knowledge of at least one programming language You have general knowledge of web technologies and related tools You demonstrate strong technical writing skills (e.g. to write code examples) You are a self starter You are willing to provide API support by email, phone and remote meetings Excellent English is required You have a proven track record of interacting with customers and providing excellent support Benefits Why work for Eagle Eye Eagle Eye Networks is an innovative, global start-up building the only platform powerful enough to support the future of video surveillance and security.
