JOB TITLE: Financial Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation and review of various quarterly, semi-annual, annual and ad-hoc deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting requirements, including analytical commentary and the preparation of supplementary financial analysis for management and other stakeholders. Assisting with the financial forecasting and the preparation of budgets Provide Variance analysis report of actuals against annual budget plan to the management. Provide oversight for the internal cost budgets, ensuring that expenses are in line with approved budgets. Challenge the Operations team on forecast inputs and review variances with clear explanations. Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations. Provide robust and reliable information for the Engineering centers, including monthly review and trend analysis for standard rates. Perform month-end account closing activities and validate accruals, provisions with business trends. Coordinate with shared services team for queries related to account reconciliation. Support the management of the annual external audit. Prepare submissions to E&C Group to enforce second line of defense to ensure quality and integrity of the financial information submitted. Enhance financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, trends and recommended actions. Perform balance sheet reviews, preparing the BS Schedules and reconciliations as required. Responsible for monthly on-time/first-time right IFRS reporting to E&C Group including schedules for interim review and year-end audit. Adhere to Group’s financial control framework e.g. organize annual risk assessment and six-monthly control owner self-assessment (COSA) Provide status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule and keep the Finance manager informed of task accomplishment, issues and status. Support Process improvement initiatives The above is an outline of key duties and accountabilities, rather than an exclusive or exhaustive list of responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

Qualified Chartered Accountant Must have Big 4 experience. At least 5 years post qualification experience in large multinational businesses, with at least five years is similar role, having international transaction experience with specific reference to transfer pricing. Experience and understanding of IFRS and (IND AS) accounting standards. Statutory compliance and reporting Have experience in FP&A role (Budget Vs Actuals) Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems Prior experience in Oracle Financial systems, Power BI, Excel Macro etc. is an advantage experience. Strong knowledge of financial planning and performance processes, including annual budget, monthly forecast, and periodic business review Experience in business reporting, variance analysis. Experience with Process Improvement – Lean Six Sigma trained desirable Personality and interpersonal skills.
