The SDR will be responsible for the B2C wing to significantly move up the revenue for The Test Tribe. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for solving the problems of our community of software testers through our paid offerings which includes Workshops, Bootcamps, Memberships and more. Position Overview: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at our EdTech startup, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by effectively prospecting, qualifying, and converting leads into sales. Your primary focus will be on selling high-ticket items such as bootcamps, memberships, and other educational offerings. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and building strong relationships with prospective customers. Key Responsibilities: Prospect and qualify leads through outbound prospecting efforts including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the unique requirements and challenges of potential customers. Articulate the value proposition of our educational products and services to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and outcomes. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Collaborate closely with the growth and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and campaigns. Effectively communicate with prospects via phone, email, and other channels to move them through the sales funnel. Provide accurate and timely information to prospective customers regarding pricing, features, and enrollment processes. Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position our products and differentiate us from competitors. Utilize sales tools and technologies to track activities, manage contacts, and streamline the sales process. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, preferably in the EdTech or education industry. 1-3 years experience preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospects. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and challenges. Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, LeadSquared) and sales automation tools. Knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies, with a focus on consultative selling and solution-based selling approaches. Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on learners' lives.
