Benesse has an aspiration to positively impact education space in India, creating and contributing towards its evolution to support the dreams of the 'next gen'. We already have multiple offering running in various schools and have started setting up in different states of India. In the current year AY 2023-2024 now, we are expanding the scope of our offering, increasing our coverage of schools, building our India Team and developing our ed tech and other products (in B2B, B2B2C & B2C) and offering further. Alongside, we will be working on identifying other opportunities of growth and partnerships in the country.
Designation: AM / DM – SCM
Responsibilities:
- Collect information on demand forecasts for products (forecasting the number of assessment takers) and production plans (including after-sales service) from members of other departments as appropriate, while liaising and coordinating with production personnel, logistics partners and suppliers for accurate product and service information to ensure efficient management of the entire process from order receipt to delivery.
- Ensure an efficient and reliable supply of products to geographically widespread customer base in India while simultaneously ensuring a stable supply of goods, improving service quality and reducing costs.
- Through the above, analyse issues and prepare improvement plans.
Eligibility:
- MBA or Degrees related to enterprise management or process management.
- 4-6 years' working experience, with at least 2-3 years' experience in (i) supply chain management work related to a B2B/B2C services company or logistics management of B2C products, (ii) business process design and management in a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) company.
- 2 years as an Assistant/Deputy manager experience is an advantage.
- Able to look at and decompose business structures, and to provide clear explanations about the structures and workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate concepts and work with external vendors and team members from different departments.
- Project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personality and perseverance with the ability to stay grounded and learn continuously.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese on business matters is an advantage.
