We are looking for a new colleague in the Plant Engineering Maintenance department at our location in Coimbatore, IN.

Are you a skilled maintenance professional with a passion for precision and a knack for problem-solving We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and take charge of ensuring the seamless operation of our machinery.

Your tasks:

• Oversee the repair and maintenance of casting and Ring wheel machining to ensure maximum uptime through the execution of preventive maintenance, condition-based maintenance.
• Take responsibility for attending equipment breakdowns, conducting preventive maintenance, and performing condition monitoring to enhance equipment availability.
• Identify and Rectify abnormalities during preventive maintenance, condition-based monitoring, Autonomous Maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
• Collaborate within the team to analyse and identify problems, employing tools such as 8D, A3, and Why-Why analysis.
• Maintain shift logs and prepare work order slips for comprehensive documentation.
• Facilitate communication during shift meetings to foster collaboration and transparency.
• Demonstrate adaptability by working seamlessly in 3 shifts and during holidays to meet operational demands.
• Ensure strict adherence to the Quality Management System, Work Instructions, and Business Process Mapping to maintain the highest standards.
• Work responsibly to prevent unsafe activities, strictly adhering to safety systems and procedures.

Your profile:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering with 4-8 years of valuable experience in the field of machine maintenance.
• Possesses knowledge in HMC, VMC, VTL, Gear milling & grinding machines with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experienced in working with SIEMNES Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Numerical Controllers (NC), Drive and CNC Systems in manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in studying and diagnosing Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems, including the interpretation of system drawings.
• Knowledgeable in repairing bearings, fittings, seals, O rings, and general spares.
