Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for connecting with interior designers, architects, and other industry professionals to generate leads, build relationships, and drive sales growth for our modular furniture products.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with potential clients, including interior designers, architects, contractors, and other industry stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities through networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for lead generation and brand awareness.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our modular furniture solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior design, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management roles, in the furniture or interior design industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent networking abilities and a proactive approach to relationship building.
- Solid understanding of sales principles and techniques, with the ability to effectively pitch products and close deals.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Design Softwares(e.g., AutoCAD, Sketchup).
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
