Job description
Electrical & Electronics Engineer providing engineering services to onsite Capex Projects
- Electrical load calculations and Estimation of total Power Requirement.
- Perform Calculation of Cable sizing, system Fault current, Power loss, Earthing, Lightning protection system, Lighting/Illumination system., Emergency power (UPS sizing), DG sizing.
- Designing and selection of size of equipment's.
- Earthing & Short Circuit Calculations.
- Preparation of RFQ for equipment & services, coordinate with vendors for TQ closure & perform TBE
- Interdisciplinary coordination & data finalization wrt TBEs, layouts, models designs etc.
- Preparing detail engineering drawings of earthing layout, lighting layout, cable tray layout, schematic diagram, wiring diagram & all electrical related drawings.
- Preparation of Fire Alarm schematics and layouts.
- Sizing & Selection of Control Valves, Flowmeters, TI/TE/PG as per process & utility.
- Implementing hand marked-up changes to drawings.
- Preparing of Design Basis Reports etc.
- Review of Electrical designs done by other engineers/ agencies.
- Preparation and review of BoQs and cost estimates.
- Raising PRs in SAP, review of post order vendor documents.
- Providing quality assurance reviews and detailed checking support.
- Maintaining and monitoring drawing development progress.
- Monitoring & controlling of respective discipline budget, perform variance analysis wrt budget vs actual.
- Implementation of Interlocks received from Process.
- Upgradation of software & hardware's wrt PLC & DCS.
- Review of GUI and providing inputs to OEMs.
- Ensuring installations as per drawing
