Strategic Responsibilities

Leadership Responsibilities

Lead the advanced predictive analytics strategy for primarily manufacturing workstream
Provide the thought leadership in using the advanced analytics techniques such as Business model development, Machine learning
Manage & lead the analytics team in India while being accountable for delivering the projects that requires advanced analytics

Problem Solving through Innovation & Collaboration

Develop robust tools to help reduce losses in the manufacturing part of supply chain
Provide technical expertise to the team for the analytics group and coach the team in career planning & progression
Collaborate with key supply chain partners to help identify opportunities where advanced analytical capabilities can be leveraged
Run/execute operations within assigned budget and resources

Operational Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

. Collaborate with the project managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements, pain points and recommend analytical solutions.

. Align on the expectations with respect to scope, resources, timelines for project deliverables

. Influence the business team by translating the complex model results into business language

. Deliver effective presentation to the stakeholders and align on decisions/recommendations

Project Management

Project delivery through Scrum- Scrum master Role
Help create the project charter, align on the scope, resources, assumptions, timelines
Lead 4 to 6 projects at any given point in time and provide technical expertise to the project team
Participate in core project team meetings, call out the risks, options to mitigate and recommend best approach to solve problems
Support the implementation of the business process improvement & project management initiatives
Balance the resources workload & prioritize projects as per business needs while aligning with the stakeholders expectations
. Stay tightly connected with internal teams and stakeholders and proactively communicate any risks and opportunities

. Provide periodic communication & updates on key performance indicators such as quality, timely delivery, customer satisfaction & business value

People Responsibilities ( Hiring, coaching, performance management, etc)

- Work closely with HR for hiring, leveling & attrition management

- Mentor the team in career planning & progression

- Responsible for identifying development needs and plans for individuals

- Responsible for performance evaluation and day to day administrative activities of direct reporting team

Desired Profile


Education

Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
Prefer red Degree Requirements: Masters
Preferred Major Area of Study: Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply chain
Preferred Professional Certifications:
APICS, CSCMP, Scrum Master

Experience

Minimum years of related experience required: 4
Preferred years of related experience:5


Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed

Demonstrated experience in solving problems related to manufacturing, engineering and operations
Good knowledge in working with R, Python, Hadoop, Spark, Kaftka, SSAS, SSIS, Visual Studio, Power BI, VBA Macro, ETL, visualization, database integration etc.
Experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing, business intelligence is preferred
Broad understanding of manufacturing processes and operations is preferred
Strong analytical, problem solving and business acumen skills
Ability to translate complex technical topics into easy to understand concepts
