About the Role

Location: Hyderabad

Manage the evolution of the detailed functional and technical architecture to enable the design and delivery of IT technologies within a Novartis portfolio of projects.

• Accountability for solution architecture, design and delivery in key strategic platforms delivering to the IT customer engagement platforms portfolio. Accountable for managing and leading expert level knowledge on innovative medicine domains and capabilities (including patient services, cell and gene therapies, clinical and medical).
• Accountability for understanding the technical components of strategic platforms and their associated integrations. Responsible for managing and leading a team of functional and technical experts within the DDIT customer engagement platform team.
• Responsible for ensuring that solution designs adhere to modern solution standards and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements in functional specification and designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of solution.
• Responsible for ensuring that solutions meet requirements outlined in the architecture handbook and all work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality agreements. Responsible for the solutions are peer reviewed, formally documented and signed off by relevant signatories. Responsible for informing testing strategy and initiate solution testing to ensure these meet quality standards.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining standardized design and development processes to enable cost effective delivery. Accountable for adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures as they relate to solution design.
• Responsible for ensuring solution and delivery traceability to requirements ,technologies and delivery of solutions meet requirements outlined in the project documentation and the overall user experience is considered when delivering new solutions , services and design of solutions meets with quality standards.
• Responsible for conducting solution design handover and leading the solution discussions with the other work streams, designs and deployment of solutions can be tracked, installed, tested, verified and rolled back (if required).
• Responsible for ensuring that solution designs deliver the expected outcomes and value for the customers and lead scoping, fit-gap workshops, solution designs and their related effort estimations including alignment with stakeholders.

Role Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience in managing teams within IT project related environments.
• 8+ years delivery experience in Life Sciences using Salesforce, Veeva, Mulesoft, AWS, Marketing Cloud or equivalent areas.
• Professional Salesforce certifications desired.
• University degree in related business/technical area.
• Expert understanding of application development, and methodologies. Strong stakeholder management and/or business consulting skills.
• Expert ITIL / Agile / GxP, analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven track rack record in large, global, multi-team projects dealing with complex process areas and business groups.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills. Highly dependable, outstanding attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with others in a high paced, fluid, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels.
• Ability to operate in matrix organization effectively. Strong can-do attitude and results focused.
