• Delivery Compliance OTIF - 100%
• Quality Performance - 1. Customer Rej.-Zero, 2. Intl. Rej 100ppm, 3. Intl. Rew. 1000 ppm, 4. Firewall Non-conformance 100 ppm. 5. Pokayokes should be maximized
• Productivity Improvement as measured by shock absorbers per man-hour
• Safety performance - Zero Accidents, continuously reduce Near Miss accidents
• Tool Room performance - 1. 100% uptime, 2. Cost utilization as per Budget, 3. Improvement Projects.
• Plant maintenance performance- 1. 100% uptime (Zero Breakdown) 2. Cost utilization as per Budget, 3. Improvement Projects.
• Manufacturing Engineering - New Product development as per TAT (No. of projects).
Key Activities
1. Provide inspired leadership for the organization.
2. Overall plant operations, planning, and strategy decisions. Complete Accountability of PPC, Production, Tool Room, Plant Maintenance & Manufacturing Engineering functions.
3. Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
4. Optimum utilization of resources & OEE improvement.
5. Help promote work place safety culture in the company that encourages top performance and high morale.
6. Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
7. Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
8. Work with the Managing Directors & President of Operations to determine plan for short and long-term goals.
9. Identify and address Bottlenecks and improvement opportunities for the organization. 10. Strong communication media between Staff, worker's and the management team.
11. Help, support & guide to all supporting departments to achieve common goals.
12. Responsible for New product Development, ECN & ECR Implementation by heading ME Function.
13. Indirect material Purchasing activities like Specs. Finalization & Negotiations for best. (e.g. Critical maintenance spares & ME tools and gauges etc.)
14. Tool Room - Maintaining & improving Manufacturing excellence with 100% Tooling Uptime
15. Tool Room - Review of new Toolings & fixtures design and implementation as per time line.
16. Plant Maintenance - Maintaining and improving Manufacturing excellence with 100% machine Uptime
17. Deeply get involved in the new plant set up activities
18. Monitor the effectiveness of Fast Response Tracking System as a process owner. Skills 1. Experience in Plant Operations Management, Good knowledge of Toyota Production Systems. 2. Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers and employees 3. Understanding of general finance and costs related to the plant, budgeting and commercials. 4. Knowledge and understanding of organizational products and new product development. 5. Knowledge on SAP and ERP system.
