About Our Client The client is a lead agency for economic development, international trade and investment, and tourism for another State. It also leads the promotion and development of the defence, international education, science, and innovation sectors in the State.The Group works across government to grow the number of tourists and international students choosing the State as their destination of choice and spearhead the expansion of different sectors. Markets and promotes the business interests of the State, its representative department and its clients in India
Provides high level administrative, research and project support to the Commissioner and office staff.
Establishes processes and procedures for correspondence, mail and courier services in liaison with Mumbai and State offices.
Prepares documents including letters, reports, presentations and briefing material.
Ensures correspondence and other documentation is filled in accordance with the departmental information management systems and policies.
Assists and facilitates visits to India and Gulf by business visitors and delegates and organises travel arrangements, including travel proposals, accommodation bookings, itineraries and reconciliation of travel expenses, ensuring adherence to government and departmental travel policies and guidelines.
Coordinates and ensure tasks assigned to the Commissioner and group are actioned within specified timeframes.
Plans and organises official visits, ceremonies, and high-level special events.
Coordinates and liaises with Ministerial and Government offices in relation to a range of engagement activities.
Maintains records of meetings, phone calls, and other communications between the agency and foreign officials.
The Successful Applicant
Demonstrated experience providing high level support at executive level.
Demonstrate ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matter with tact and discretion.
Strong verbal and written local and English language skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to support the Commissioner in building a high performing team.
Demonstrates conceptual, research, analytical and innovative problem-solving skills.
Sets and meets own/or group priorities within agreed timeframes and with limited direction.
Builds and maintains professional relationships with internal and external clients
Shows commitment to achievement of work goals.
Produces written documents and communicates clearly with a diverse range of people.
Coordinate protocol requirements for Ministerial and high- level visits including security, airport facilitation, and preparation of third party note verbale in coordination with State and Federal government agencies
