About Team: - The proposals team (part of Enterprise Client Solutions) is responsible for responding to all RFPs from potential customers in the APAC region by developing proposals, budgets, and other required deliverables
Internship Assignment Summary: - Creation of QTs and assignment, new Quotes requests for proposals; Anaplan uploading, Billing Guide/BRP generation, Creation of SharePoint space and uploading of documents (Triage form, RFP documents and client specifications), Managing compliance to Quotes and Quote Track completion guidelines; Update SFDC for Quote and Opportunity tabs related to Budget Product Line (this takes time), Paperwork (print, stamp, courier, archiving).
- Following-up on assignments of SMEs for all APAC RFPs, Formatting and Preparation simple draft proposal for proposal managers based on RFP info and draft simple contract, and share any part of GCD contract work as appropriate
- Shadow Proposal Managers on all aspects of the appropriate proposal process (text, quote, budget) (ie collating data, following up with other departments, meeting minutes, etc) and Support timely delivery of assigned deliverables, learn to review and analyze RFP documents to promote understanding of client requirements. May (based on business unit expectation) collate follow up questions for additional information as requested
- Works across the organization in matrix environment to facilitate the process and complete deliverables and may (based on business unit expectation) shadow applicable strategic and operational calls related to the opportunity; seeks appropriate knowledge of the technical and regulatory environments and complete other appropriate duties, as assigned by the manager, which require similar skills in accordance with business needs and common sense
- Performs timely and accurate data entry into corporate databases as directed, administratively supports facilitating internal and external opportunity management negotiations (i.e. pricing, process, resources, timelines, etc.) as needed
Education/Qualifications/Skills: - Working towards master / bachelor's degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Pharmacy / Biomedical Engineering / Clinical Research
- Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting, ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
- Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership and should have ability to work to deadlines, Strong analytical skills, Positive attitude and sense of urgency, Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours as needed to meet the client's proposal deadline
- Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact
- Demonstrated computer skills – requires excellent MS Office experience (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook); Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize; Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills
