Job description
- In-charge of the HR function at site i.e. Kattupalli Shipyard
- Establish connect with key leaders and Department / Section Heads of the Shipyard and represent HR in discussions.
- Establishes and maintains the presence on the shop floor to keep a read on the pulse of the organization.
- Manpower planning for Shipyard functions, and coordination with central Talent Acquisition team for filling up key positions.
- Support the central HR team in driving L&D, Performance Management and corporate change initiatives at the Shipyard.
- Manage and mitigate employees grievances by ensuring supervisors and leaders are creating an open forum for discussion and resolution on the same.
- Conceptualize and implement employment engagement initiatives at the Shipyard.
- Welfare initiatives of employees to ensure safe and healthy environment & working conditions for employees.
- Ensure discipline inside the organization, conducting domestic enquiry and also taking disciplinary action in case of violation.
- Establish a mechanism for feedback from all separating employees and also meet employees based on Voice of the People indicators.
- Mentor and guide leaders to manage their own performance of their teams and create pipeline of potential leaders.
- Being a change agent and enforce the company culture and promote right behavior and talent management. Create a positive work culture which translates into improved GPTW scores.
- Coordinate with IR Team to ensure HR related compliances.
- Should be familiar with statutory provisions, social welfare schemes and able to liaise with concerned government officials to solve employees' issues.
- In addition to above responsibility ensure the compliance to ISMS Policy & procedure at LTSB
