About the role
As Sourcing manager, you will be responsible for developing Potential Suppliers, identifying the related risks, identifying & managing supply and supplier constraints, managing the vendor relationship & related forums, controlling item and product cost. You necessarily need to have good knowledge of global electronic sources for direct procurement.
Your primary objective will include ensuring that our products are made with high quality materials while reducing the costs and supply constraints.
Key Responsibilities
§ Developing Potential Suppliers.
§ Vendor finalization and registration
§ Creation and Maintenance of approved supplier list
§ Vendor assessment with Quality Manager
§ Identifying the related risks
§ Identifying & managing supply and supplier constraints
§ Evaluate supplier proposals
§ Continuous monitoring on Vendor performance scores and developments
§ Managing the vendor relationship & related forums
§ Managing approved supplier list
§ Engaging and promoting suppliers to maintain stocks
§ Drive programs to reduce the delivery time & ensure the fastest delivery as per industry standards.
§ Collaborate with R n D teams for new developments
§ Part & BOM Costing
§ Utilize analytical skills to analyze operational data and generate insightful reports to drive process improvements.
§ Lead cost optimization projects , including logistics cost.
§ Excess inventory sale
Essential Qualifications and Skills Required
§ Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably electronic domain) and MBA in Sourcing
§ Good in negotiation skills and Inventory management
§ Teamwork with a positive attitude is essential.
Additional Information
This role reports directly to the Head of Operations.
