Summary : The Senior Software Engineer position is in the Global Product Engineering organization assigned to the InSight project. Iron Mountain InSight is a content services platform that provides actionable business insights and predictive analytics through Machine Learning (ML)-based classification of a company's physical and digital information, which adds structure, context and meta-data to information to make it more usable. The resulting enriched content can then enable enhanced automated governance and workflows for our customers.
The Senior Software Engineer will provide design and delivery of a portal web application within the agile development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer with web application development with micro services and REST APIs in highly performant systems. The candidate has at least 5 years of experience developing a web application and at least 3 years web UI experiences. To be successful, the candidate needs to show experience with Javascript and Javascript Frameworks, e.g., NodeJS, Angular, REACT etc. and REST APIs. The candidate should also have Cloud-based development experience.
Responsibilities : - Participate in design discussions about the technical implementation and consider the tradeoffs to support business value, scalability and delivery timeline.
- Develop web UI pages using JavaScript based frameworks, e.g., REACT etc
- Work with the services team to integrate with service REST APIs, JSON etc.
- Develop back-end components and services to improve responsiveness and overall performance
- Write effective, scalable code
- Integration with Client Facing Application and UpStream AP
- Develop unit tests with a test driven mindset
- Debug and address performance issues
- Design and code for security considerations, anticipates security risks
- Peer / code reviews
- Lead the development of a product feature
Qualifications : - Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills with a track record of delivering production grade systems in a team environment

- Familiarity with implementation design patterns and performance challenges
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- Experience in working with distributed teams
- At least 3 years of experience working with agile scrum methodologies
- At least 4+ years of Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, REACT etc.
- Proven 4+ years of experience as a Java Developer including backend and middle tier development based on Microservices Patters

- Good understanding of enterprise solutions including storage,, and software layers.
- Hands on Experience with implementation of Cross Cutting Concern including Caching, Logging and Tracing.
- Working Knowledge and Understanding of Microservices architecture
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes and Kubeflow
- Proven internal/external written and verbal communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize issues in a complex environment.
- Understanding of Machine Learning and AI techniques is a plus.
- Understanding of Cloud Technologies and solutions - GCP Preferred is a plus
- Experience with agile tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Rally, TFS or Version One
- Mastery of code repositories such as subversion / git and artifactory repos
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with web server, e.g., nginx, Tomcat is a plus
