Job Description: Shift Officer - Yarn Business
Responsibilities:
Supervision: Oversee spinning operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
Team Management: Lead and guide machine operators, providing direction, training, and support to optimize team performance.
Production Monitoring: Monitor and analyze production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions to meet production targets.
Technical Support: Address and troubleshoot machinery issues promptly, coordinating with maintenance teams as needed to minimize downtime.
Quality Control: Enforce quality standards, conduct regular inspections, and implement measures to ensure the production of high-quality yarn.
Communication: Maintain effective communication within the team and collaborate with other shifts and departments to facilitate seamless operations.
Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce safety protocols, conduct safety inspections, and promote a culture of safety among team members.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of production data, machine maintenance, and any incidents, providing reports as required.
Efficiency Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains within the spinning department.
Training: Facilitate training sessions for new team members and provide ongoing skill development to existing staff.
