Finance Associate - Financial Reporting

Looking for a Finance professional with 2+ years of experience for a D2C brand in Mumbai!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to implement financial systems and processes, preparing monthly financial reports, preparing budgeting and forecasting reports, controlling the master data of the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with the state revenue service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the duties of the Finance team.

• Prepare monthly financial reports.

• Prepare cash flow statements

• Prepare Budgeting and forecasting reports

• Control the master data of the general register.

• Review and release online banking payments.

• Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, and reports and maintain a company's tax database

• Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings

• Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits

• Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations

• Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws

• Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports

Qualifications

• Min. 2 years of work experience in Finance

• Experience in forecasting and budget financial statements is a must

• A base understanding of books of accounts, accounts finalization and taxation is good to have

• Has good experience in preparing financial reports

• BAF or similar qualification is preferred, an Inter CA qualification is a plus

• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Effective communication skills
