Job description
Isonomy Legal251 Private Limited is currently seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our finance team. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's tax obligations. This includes preparing and filing tax returns, conducting tax research, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of tax laws.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, GST, and payroll tax -
- Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations -
- Provide advice and guidance to management on tax planning strategies -
- Review financial records and documents for accuracy and completeness -
- Prepare necessary documentation and respond to tax authorities during audits -
- Assist with tax planning and forecasting activities -
- Maintain and update tax-related records and documentation -
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field -
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tax Accountant or similar role -
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations -
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -
- Attention to detail and accuracy -
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office -
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team -
- Professional certification (such as CPA) is a plus
