SAP Ariba Lead
Short Description:
As the SAP Ariba Lead, your mission is to oversee and optimize the SAP Ariba platform, including Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Sourcing, SAP Business Network Commerce Automation, EDI, and cross-modular integrations. You will play a crucial role in streamlining procurement processes, driving efficiency, and enhancing collaboration within the organization and with external partners. This position is part of an SAP S/4 project, and 'big bang' ARIBA go-live globally.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the SAP Ariba team and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation and operation of Ariba solutions for the global project.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business units from various locations to understand their procurement needs and translate them into effective Ariba solutions that align with global standards.
- Manage the configuration and customization of Ariba modules to meet the diverse requirements of multiple locations while ensuring consistency and standardization.
- Oversee the integration of Ariba with other SAP modules and external systems through EDI and other integration methods to enable seamless data exchange on a global scale.
- Monitor and report on the performance of Ariba processes and KPIs across locations, identifying areas for improvement and optimization to achieve a successful big bang go-live.
- Support the testing and validation of Ariba functionalities and integrations, working closely with teams such as Tricentis, to ensure a robust and reliable system for a large user base.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP Ariba and related technologies, recommending upgrades and enhancements suitable for the global project's requirements.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive change management strategies, communication plans, and end-user training programs to prepare 1000+ users worldwide for the significant system change.
- Resolve complex issues related to Ariba configurations, integrations, and processes in a timely manner, providing global support and ensuring minimal disruption during the go-live.
Key Experience Required:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP Ariba, with a comprehensive understanding of the following Ariba modules and functionalities (Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Sourcing, SAP Business Network Commerce Automation, Ariba Contracts, Ariba Supplier Performance & Sourcing Performance, Ariba Analysis).
- Proven track record in leading and successfully managing large-scale SAP Ariba implementations across multiple locations.
- Experience in working with Signavio for process modeling and Tricentis for testing is preferred.
Technical and Functional Competencies:
- Deep knowledge of SAP Ariba modules and their functionalities, with a strong emphasis on global implementation best practices.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing Ariba solutions to meet specific business requirements while adhering to global standards.
- Strong understanding of integration points between Ariba and other SAP modules, as well as external systems through EDI, catering to diverse locations' data exchange needs.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes across different regions and recommend efficient global solutions using Ariba functionalities.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field
- Certification in one of the ARIBA modules
