Job Title: Consultant/Assistant Manager Manager/ Senior Manager / Associate Director
Location: State Capitals Overview: KPMG in India has one of the leading food and agribusiness consulting practices offering a wide range of services to private enterprises, State governments, PSUs, Central government institutions and international donor organizations. The services encompass the overall spectrum from strategizing to implementation, monitoring, evaluation, market led interventions and co creating an enabling ecosystem and unlocking value for our clients within the Agri and allied sectors Our focus lies in providing apt and well-timed solutions to our clients despite the dynamic and heterogenous nature of the sector. With 100+ professionals having a significant and hands on experience across agriculture and allied value chains including but not limited to horticulture, dairy and animal husbandry, aquaculture, poultry, and a footprint in 10+ states and central government departments in India. The team is seeking an experienced professionals with exceptional interpersonal and technical skills that may include policy-based analysis, knowledge of trade, agricultural policies and economics. The candidate should be able to drive and support the agenda of Agri and Allied Services practice of the firm both in India and globally and should have a deep technical understanding of the subject The Individual — Should have 3+ years /5+ years / 7+ years / 10+ years of work experience, with exposure in any of the following: — Project planning and appraisal, project management consultancy, capacity building and trainings and knowledge and information management — The candidate should have experience in Agri-food supply chain transformation, value chain development, go-to-market and growth strategy, market linkages of agri input and output industry , agri commodities, process improvement, revenue enhancement, profit maximization, cost optimization, brand building, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME) development and micro entrepreneurship, organization design and transformation, policy reforms, vision formulation and implementation of strategic initiatives — Market feasibility, gap analysis, policy review and reforms, monitoring and evaluation, sectoral analysis, and thought leadership — Commercial, financial, and operational due diligence, agri investment promotion and outreach support, bid process management and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) advisory (buy/sell side advisory and post-merger integration)— Should have strong technical experience and in depth understanding of various reforms, pre and post-harvest technological innovations in Agriculture sector — Should have worked on assignments with various Government / private sector /Public sector — Should be good at report writing, data analysis, working on excel and PowerPoint presentations with excellent communication skills. Qualification MBA/PGDM in Agribusiness Management from premier management B schools like MANAGE/IIM A/ IRMA/ XIM/ IIM L or other prestigious General Management InstitutesJob tags
