As a UX/UI Designer with a focus on website development, applications, and microsite development using Ceros, Adobe XD or Figma, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative, user-centered solutions that meet our business needs. Responsibilities User Experience (UX) Design- Conduct user research, analyse user requirements, and create user personas to inform design decisions. Develop user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate interaction and design concepts. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on designs to continuously improve the user experience. Ensure designs comply with best practices, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines. User Interface (UI) Design- Create visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces that align with the overall user experience strategy. Design and implement UI elements, icons, and visual assets. Collaborate with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of UI designs. Maintain design consistency and coherence across various digital platforms. Website Development Collaborate with developers and content creators to design and develop engaging websites using modern web technologies. Leverage your expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive and interactive web interfaces. Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. Conduct usability testing and implement feedback to enhance the user experience. Applications Development Design and prototype user interfaces for web applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Collaborate with the development team to implement designs using frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve any usability or performance issues. Microsite Development Using Ceros Utilize Ceros platform to create visually stunning and interactive microsites. Collaborate with the content team to bring their vision to life through engaging design and interactivity. Implement animations, transitions, and other Ceros features to enhance the user experience. Optimise microsites for performance and compatibility across devices and browsers. Skills Must Include Design Thinking: As a UX/UI Designer with a focus on creative design requirements, you will apply design thinking principles to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions. This involves understanding user needs, conducting research, and using empathy to design user-centered experiences that address those needs effectively. Visual Branding:You will collaborate closely with the internal teams to ensure that the visual designs align with the brand's identity and messaging. This includes incorporating brand guidelines, typography, color palettes, and imagery to create a consistent and cohesive visual representation across websites, applications, and microsites. Visual Hierarchy and Composition: You will have a keen eye for visual hierarchy and composition, ensuring that the most important elements are emphasized and that the overall design is aesthetically pleasing and engaging. This involves working with typography, layout, spacing, and imagery to create a balanced and visually appealing user interface. Interactive and Engaging Design: In addition to creating visually appealing designs, you will focus on incorporating interactive and engaging elements to enhance the user experience. This may involve animations, micro-interactions, transitions, and other interactive design techniques to make the digital products more immersive and delightful for users. Design Innovation: As a creative UX/UI Designer, you will be encouraged to think outside the box and push the boundaries of design. This means exploring new design trends, experimenting with innovative visual concepts, and proposing creative solutions that differentiate our digital products from competitors. Collaboration and Communication: Effective collaboration and communication skills are crucial when working with clients, stakeholders, developers, and other team members. You will actively engage in discussions, present design concepts, and articulate your creative ideas clearly to ensure everyone is aligned and working towards a shared vision. Iterative Design Process: You will engage in an iterative design process, incorporating feedback and testing to continuously refine and improve the visual designs. This involves conducting usability testing, analyzing user feedback, and iterating on designs to ensure they meet both user needs and project goals. Design Tools and Software: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma and Ceros, or other relevant software is essential for creating and presenting high-quality visual designs.
