Overview
Avalara's GoLive team is looking for a Senior Program Manager to support and lead improvement programs. Key responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing projects that support operational excellence and technology initiatives. The person in this role will have experience planning, implementing, and monitoring projects that build a cycle of continuous improvement. Come join this exciting team!
Responsibilities The successful candidate will have :
- A background in leadership, program, product, technology, or business management.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions to complex situations or problem sets.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high quality deliverables with high attention to detail.
- Strong attention to detail, passion for strategic thinking and problem solving.
Qualifications Qualifications - Master's/ Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years of tech industry experience or program/project management experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills: ability to diagnose improvement opportunities and clearly articulate solutions
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with SaaS solutions and cloud technology
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Knowledge and understanding of Avalara products and customer-facing needs.
