JOB DESCRIPTION FOR: Para Professionals -Production
- Job Title: Para Professionals – Production
- Job Area: Blender / Extruder / Packaging / Utility-Silo all area in Production.
- Job Purpose: To ensure Manufacturing Operations with safe & defined quality parameters.
- Reporting Manager: Shift Leader
- Experience & Career Levels : Technician III( Diploma holder 1 to 2 Years’ experience)
- Job Roles & Responsibilities:
General:
- Follow site EHS norms / standard and demonstrate continual improvement initiatives at his work area.
- Maintain his area clean as per Lean 5S standard and sets example for others in keeping their area clean.
- Take initiative, self-directed and exhibit high motivational levels. To meet manufacturing metrics; assist as required on strategic projects / initiatives and drive kaizen implementation / process – quality improvement at work area. Take interest in solving problem.
- Willingly help others beyond his work area.
- Grasp fast and go into details of work initiated / assigned. Seek answers for unknown from colleagues.
- Discipline in behavior & responsible to follow standard at work area assumes responsibility for own mistake and make corrections.
- See change as a tool for improvement. Demonstrate flexibility and self-motivation to meet functional requirement.
- Filling of logbooks and respective area documentation with detailed down time, corrective action, COT time, lot data sheet with accountability & effective communication to next shifts.
- Candidate Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical (most preferable), Diploma in Plastics or Diploma in Electrical
- Computer literacy
- Good knowledge about plastics compounding Mfg. Process & equipments
- Desired Skills/Abilities/Experiences:
- Knowledge – Plastics compounding Manufacturing related Process & Procedure
- Skills – Safety orientation and appreciation of safety systems. Plan & implement activities relating to his area.
- Abilities – Understand, follow & implement SOPs and EHS norms. Take initiatives & sustain improvements.
