Job description
Human Resources Representative will be responsible for assisting with the administration of the day-to-day operations of a company's human resources department, all aspects of recruiting for the organisation, and play a critical role in ensuring it's hiring the best possible talent. You will help organise, coordinate and carry out all human resource department projects and processes for the company. You will work directly with senior Recruiters and Human Resources Associates and assist the human resources department to fulfil a variety of necessary HR tasks. You should be highly organised, detail-oriented, and most importantly, personable and approachable.
By effectively managing pivotal HR functions, this role serves as an invaluable asset in fostering a productive and motivated workforce, ultimately making a significant contribution to the success and expansion of the company.
Role And Responsibilities - Research Assignments:Conduct thorough research on HR topics, best practices, and legal requirements, then summarize findings to inform decision-making and policy development.
- Onboarding:Facilitate seamless onboarding for new hires, assisting with paperwork, orientations, and training coordination to ensure a smooth transition.
- Record Keeping:Maintain and organize HR records, emphasizing confidentiality and data protection compliance, and assist in digitizing and updating personnel files and databases.
- Administrative Support:Offer administrative assistance to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, handling inquiries, and preparing HR-related documents and reports.
- Recruitment:Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews, gaining exposure to talent acquisition's initial stages.
- Compliance and Policies:Aid in ensuring HR policies comply with laws and regulations while participating in policy development and updates.
- Background Verification:Verify candidates' backgrounds by contacting references to ensure information accuracy and reliability.
- Startup Culture Building:Leverage experience to establish HR systems, processes, and cultural tenets in a startup or entrepreneurial setting.
- People Programs Implementation:Implement people programs, including performance coaching, employee relations, compensation reviews, HR compliance, and employee development and growth.
Competencies - People operations:Own all people operations processes including performance review cycles; compensation reviews and planning; benefits administration; legal and regulatory compliance as it relates to employment, etc., and as we scale to ensure that we evolve our processes appropriately.

- Computer skills:Must be able to effectively work with G-Suite and Google products and the company's digital human resource systems.
- Organisational skills:Because HR is responsible for handling a lot of information, they need good organisational skills.
- Confidentiality:Able to handle confidential and sensitive information that must not be shared with others.
