Chipton-Ross is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist for a contract remote opportunity in Carlsbad, CA.
SUMMARY:
The Specialist, Marketing Operations supports the Seismic sales enablement platform for users across the Pharma Services group, including Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Business unit and Site colleagues. This individual reports to the Manager, Marketing Communications and provides Seismic expertise and support with a focus on the Pharma Services Commercial team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Manage the Seismic platform on a daily basis, ensuring an intuitive, efficient and high-quality experience for users and content producers; provide technical support and problem resolution.
o Review requests and grant access for users in alignment with established parameters.
o Handle requests and input from users on the Seismic site and content. Ensure content issues are addressed by relevant authors.
o Build deep expertise in the platform and stay current with new capabilities. Make recommendations for business use cases and adoption priorities.
o Perform as the key interface with the Seismic customer success manager.
o Collaborate with PSG Sales Operations and Training as needed to improve, integrate, and advance usage of Seismic in alignment with Commercial priorities and initiatives.
o Make adjustments to the PSG Seismic site, build new pages and widgets as needed to address business/user needs.
o Conduct analysis of user engagement metrics, search queries, content health, and other metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
o Develop learning content and user guides to support colleagues in improving their understanding of how to use Seismic.
o Support upload of content to Seismic. Conduct regular content audits and alert authors of the need for updates. Track to ensure updates are completed.
o Support the Manager, Marketing Communications as needed with Sales team engagement to increase usage and value creation.
o Manage and complete other projects as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o 3-5 years work experience including 2+ years marketing and/or sales operations experience in a complex/technical business to business industry
o At least one year experience providing administrative support for Seismic
o Strong organizational skills; able to work on multiple priorities at the same time
o Strong written and verbal communication
o Self-directed with strong time management, planning, and prioritization skills
o Attention to detail
o Able to thrive in a virtual team environment
o Adept at learning new systems
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related area.
