Enviri is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect who will be responsible for managing and maintaining the overall architecture, design, application management and migrations, security of Enviri's growing Cloud Infrastructure that supports the company's core business and infrastructure systems and services.

In this role, you will protect our critical information, systems, and assets, build new solutions, implement and configure new applications and hardware, provide training, and optimize/monitor cloud systems. You must be passionate about applying technical skills that create operational efficiencies and offer solutions to support Enviri's business operations and strategy roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Works in tandem with Enviri's Architecture, Applications and Security teams
• Identify and implement the most optimal and secure Azure cloud-based solutions for the company.
• Proposes viable solutions based on specific technical products. Demonstrates complex concepts, and proves the capability of those solutions through design collaboration sessions with the customer/partner
• Demonstrate hands-on skills with cloud computing, containers/orchestration, auto-scaling, advanced deployment models, CI/CD with GitOps, and pipeline customization
• Provide CI/CD guidance and Architecture experience. Application migration patterns, container options and technologies, cloud readiness, disposition, security foundations, & networking
• Has a solid understanding of relevant Microsoft Frameworks (e.g., Microsoft 365 Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework, Enterprise Scale Landing Zone, Cloud Scale Analytics, Cloud Adoption Framework). Defines customer/partner conditions of success, adheres to quality assurance, and calculates risks whilst designing and/or delivering solutions.
• Plan, implement and establish operational and maintenance programs to deliver a best-in-class cloud platform optimized for efficiency cost and performance.
• Collaborate with operational and developer teams on both tactical and strategic projects.
• Utilize approved tools to verify and take required action on events aggregated from network monitoring tools and Web Application Firewall.
• Perform network configuration changes both on-prem and in Azure.
• Setting up, securing and maintaining the infrastructure around Azure Dev Ops and Application Firewalls.
• Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as available to help keep the environment operating at it optimum while minimizing waste and maximizing investment.
• Create and update the documentation to facilitate cross-training and troubleshooting
• Work with the Security and Architecture teams to refine and deploy security best practices to identify, detect, protect, respond, and recover from threats to Enviri assets and information.
• Develop monitoring scripts to monitor applications, system performances and data availability
• Communicate planned/unplanned outages to end users
• Provide administration services on applications

Qualifications

Experience:

• Advanced experience in architecting, developing, deploying, optimizing and supporting infrastructure and services in Azure.
• Working knowledge Azure core services related to compute, network, storage, content delivery, administration and security, deployment and management, and automation technologies.
• Must be extremely detail orientated with maintaining all network and cloud documentation
• Expertise in Identity & Security management in Azure, such as Single Sign-On, MFA, and vNETs, KeyVault, RBAC, and policies.
• Working with technologies such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and T-SQL.
• Practical experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps, ensuring continuous integration and deployment of applications and services.
• Familiarity with PowerShell would be considered an advantage.
• Ability to determine priorities effectively by managing multiple tickets, projects, and changes.
• Excellent communication skills with strong teamwork, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and attentiveness to detail.
• Self-starter, ability to work independently and within a team
