Job description
Roles & Responsibilities –
- Provide strategic leadership, direction and oversight to the Operations teams in the GCC
- Lead the Insurance, Digital, PRT & Worksite Operations (BPO/BPM) functions at MassMutual India
People management/leadership: 300-500 overall span of control; mentor/coach direct reports at Asst. Managers, Managers, Sr. Managers levels)
Lead relationships with Global Business Partners of specified Lines of Business in US/ other regions
Plan, execute and responsible for People, Process, Risk, Operational Excellence and other business goals
Manage line of business operational plans/goals to achieve positive financial results and reduce operational risks
Drive a culture that promotes continuous improvement and sustainment of lean business system
Manage key stakeholders – internal and external
Experience & Skills – Desired years of experience around 15-17 years, with approximately 10-12 years of BPO/BPM experience in Insurance vertical
Global knowledge and good understanding of the BFSI / Insurance domain (Banking. Financial Services & Insurance )
Strong knowledge of BPO / BPM environment in the Insurance sector
Strong knowledge of Insurance operations related processes such as Claims, New Business, Billing, Policy Changes, Reconciliation, Adjustments, etc
Thorough knowledge of laws/acts and other regulatory requirements in Insurance domain
Exhibits strong relationship/ negotiation orientation with senior level business partners globally
Ability to partner and experience with Process management/ improvements and re-engineering
Experience in or exposure to Change Management/ Program management/ Solutioning at global level preferred
Demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with minimal supervision
Exhibits solid time management skills and works to meet or exceed all deadlines
Exhibits strong project management skills
Exhibits appropriate sense of urgency in managing responsibilities
Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks and to understand the urgency of specific requirements
