About the Role :The QA Team plays an important part in our company product development process. Our ideal candidate will be acting as the final gatekeeper before live deployment. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, you'll like this role.Job Description :- Manual testing of our SaaS Product- Responsible for create and maintain manual test suite for product- Be the final gatekeeper before live deployment- Work with developers, designers, product managers- Study product documents and specifications and prepare test cases.- Defect logging and tracking through Defect Management tools.- Analyze, debug and troubleshoot issues with setup/configuration, Database, and servers- Configure and maintain testing environment capable of simulating various device specific configurations, form factors, and infrastructure failures.- Ensure product usability across desktop and mobile web platforms.Desired Candidate Profile (Must have) :- MCA or B.Tech in Computer Science/IT engineering.- Must have 0-5 years of experience in software testing- The ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and willingness to go the extra mile when required- Hand on experience on LAMP environment testing.- Good problem solving, analytical skills and communication skills- Experience with both traditional SDLC and agile/scrum development- Knowledge of different types of testing (functional, integration, regression, end to end, system etc.)- Knowledge of performing database testing, script testing, and browser testing.- Hands-on experience on issue tracking platform like JIRA.- Basic knowledge of web concepts (HTML, webservers), relational and non-relational database management systems- Basic knowledge and experience in automation testing and tools like Selenium is an added advantage.- Experience with web service testing (REST and JSON, Basic knowledge of Jmeter for API testing, Load testing and distributed testing and its monitoring at both server and application level.- Experience on at least one web security tool.
