Hybrid Working

Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction:

The Treasury Business Management (BM) team supports Treasury's markets execution teams across entities. The team works directly with the traders, structurers, management and infrastructure teams to:
. Support in the coordinating cross-business strategic objectives / initiatives
. Support implementation of business development, change, and control agenda
. Drive and implement strategic change and development of the business

The role holder will support the Treasury Issuance Transformation programme in delivering a strategic transition in issuance trading execution platforms and associated controls, processes, reporting and operating change.

What will you be doing

Support Treasury Issuance businesses and Treasury Markets Business Management stakeholders with delivering business change in processes and controls required for migration of issuance trade activity to new strategic platforms.
. Proactively work with Treasury Services management team to develop and support detailed planning and impact assessments for the pipeline of change activities
. Reviewing business processes, desk procedures, controls, reporting and operating model to support the migration onto new infrastructure
. Ensuring trading desks remain compliant with Front Office Risk and Control (FORC) requirements through transition
. Coordinating the implementation and communicating key changes with functional partners (IBMO, Risk, Finance)

. Strong analytical, problem solving, communication & coordination skills to work with international stakeholders and regional teams
. Ability to organise workload, take initiative, prioritise and coordinate multiple tasks
. Solution focused and able to operate in a fast paced, dynamic environment
. Can-do attitude, with experience in delivering change within agreed scope and deadlines

Skills that will help you in the role:

. Proactive approach to enhancing existing processes & procedures, and developing knowledge of the Business in order to support various strategic business initiatives & control objectives
. Ability to flexibly apply skillset to the situations and circumstance specific to the change project required, sometimes requiring detailed execution work, sometimes performing planning and analysis etc
. Experience of delivering Change/Transition Management or Business Analysis experience
. A background in controls management with a strong risk management focus
. Undergraduate or equivalent degree. Strong preference is for a degree in a numerical discipline
. Exposure to Treasury, Finance or regulatory processes (e.g. FORC, risk management,) and debt/equity issuance products
. Understanding of a Treasury/Markets asset class business
. Knowledge of trading/risk management systems, operational front to back flows and key control points
. COO/Business Manager / Finance/ Middle Office / Risk and Control experience
