Role Profile Role title: Lead Analyst/ Senior lead Analyst, Accounting & Reporting Colt Level: PT1 Function: Finance (CFO) Reports to: Ass. Sr. Manager, Accounting & Reporting Location: Gurgaon, India Role purpose
- Manage the daily workload of assigned countries, ensure that data is processed in compliance with guidelines and instructions as appropriate, and that service levels are met
- To use software tools on a daily basis to monitor performance and to initiate corrective action where necessary
- To take responsibility for resolving complex issues and enquiries raised by countries & customers (if any)
- To ensure all deviations from controls procedure are escalated to line manager
- Standardization and Automation of payroll and capex processes
- To prepare monthly dashboards & key spend analysis.
- Reconciliation items to be cleared on regular basis
Key accountabilities - Preparation of financial statements basis IND-AS/IFRS
- Lead statutory audit & IFC audit, Internal Audit and Country Audit
- Prepare audit schedules and handle auditor’s queries independently
- Lead month end and year end closing activities including manual journals postings to ensure accuracy of cost in books of accounts
- Preparation of monthly invoices to colt group
- FR1, FR2 commentary, preparation of finance dashboard & MIS reports.
- Balance sheet reconciliation on monthly basis
- Supporting Tax team on tax assessments and tax audit
- Finalisation of reconciliation between management books and stat books and posting adjustment entries on monthly basis.
- Handle ad hoc queries related to accounting and reporting.

Role specific requirements Skills & Experience - 3 to 5 years of experience in Financials preparation in accordance with IND-AS and companies act 2013, General Accounting (R2R), Working knowledge of IFRS/IND AS.
- Good verbal and written communication (English);
- Appropriate accountancy training or experience in a financial environment.
- Attention to detail, diligence and accuracy;
- Effective and efficient completion of assigned tasks within allocated timeframes;
- Confident communicator, able to promote ideas and assimilate information quickly;
- Self-motivation; and
- Able to organise time and prioritise effectively
Qualifications Chartered accountant with at least 3 years of experience
