Position Purpose: We are hiring for Experienced professional with minimum of 5+ years of channel sales. To sell Canon’s range of products through channel partners, distributors in the respective cities.

Job Duties: Planning- Create a sales plan for the assigned territory by creating a channel blueprint- market reach, expansion, consolidation, appointment for distributors, retailers. Target setting for the distributors for business, expansion, promotion programs Identify needs of top partners and strategize with stakeholders.

Revenue, Growth, Market Share- Ensuring adequate number of channel partners to increase the market reach by appointing requisite number of partners and retailer expansion through partners. Market visit to channel partners, retailers and various other store formats, regularly to get information on the customers, understand sales progress, issues in the market and timely action. Allotment target to channel partners and reviewing performance of such partners. Working with regional marketing to devise programs which will help them achieve targets. Execution of Partner plan as per CeBP plan: appointment, termination, tasking, reviewing, channel conflicts management, audit, etc. This includes direct engagement with top partners, Govt customers, SIs. Ensuring distributor sell out, expansion of retail counters which includes- BIS Lounge, CAR, Pixma Zones, OICs (if applicable). Facilitating resolution of issues related to distribution viz marketing support, clearance of backend, pricing and logistics related issues. Working closely with product training teams to build knowledge and competencies in partners’ sales force on products and selling skills.

Alternate Channel: Modern, Government and SI Breakthrough in Competition Govt. accounts and SI. Ensure contribution of Govt business and tap alternative segment through SI, VAR and direct along with tender submission.

Retail Management Monitoring of stores, ensure hygiene and management of staff. Managing day to day operations. Manage marketing activities by dealers.

Inventory Planning & Management Ensure forecast accuracy. Market Inventory Management Demo Product placement & optimum utilization.

BTL Activities & Issue resolution Ensuring smooth communication and deployment of marketing activities and programs including schemes, FOS, collaterals, promotion programs Implementing direct marketing Programs to ensure lead generation,

AR Responsible for AR as per target. Collaborating with Credit team for timely credit limit management and partner appointment/ termination

Agreements with Dealers and Customers Onboarding of new partners and accountability for agreements on Dealer/Distributor/CIS/NRC/ Direct customer, as per defined policy

FOS Management Productivity management, responsibility for deployment and development of sales staff looking at customer needs

Reporting Reporting monthly plans and targets achieved. Tracking of market situation and competitor activities and sharing market information Feedback from partners on key activities and initiatives from marketing
