Job description
POSITION:
ELECTRICAL ACTUATOR REPAIR TECHNICIAN
Should have a minimum of 3+ years experience in Valve Actuator repair.
Should have an ITI/ diploma certificate.
Dismantle the Valve and Actuator.
Electrically troubleshoot, inspect, install, calibrate and test actuator at specified job worksites/workshop. Primary worksites include, but not limited to, valve shops, customer in-field work sites, and CI work shop.
Disassemble/reassemble actuators and sub-components of actuators.
Install and/or replace electrical or electronic components, such as transformers, electrical modules or cards, and re-wire per customer or manufacturers specified wiring diagram.
Should be capable of repairing the actuator individually.
Set limit switches according to applications specifications.
Remove/mount actuators from/to valve.
Complete field service worksheets and submit to job coordinator upon completion of work.
