Job Overview We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced IBDP Spanish Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience teaching Spanish, preferably in an International Baccalaureate (IB) program. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field
- Teaching certification or qualification
- Proven experience teaching Spanish to high school students
- Expertise in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
- Familiarity with the IB Spanish curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and a dedication to student success
- Ability to create and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish
Roles And Responsibilities - Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish language lessons for IBDP students
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote student engagement and foster a love for the Spanish language and culture
- Develop and implement appropriate assessment strategies to measure student learning and progress
- Provide constructive feedback to students and support their language development
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the Spanish language program
- Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on teaching methodologies and IB curriculum
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
