Job description
Responsibilities:
● Design and engineer electrical systems and equipment for renewable energy (e.g., solar PV, wind) and conventional thermal power plants.
● Prepare sizing calculations for various electrical components, including transformers, switchgears (HV/MV/LV), CT/VTs, and cables.
● Develop detailed electrical system designs, including HV/MV/LV single line diagrams.
● Prepare specifications for electrical equipment.
● Create typical electrical logic diagrams, schematic diagrams, intertripping/interlocking, and tripping matrices.
● Review and provide comments on electrical documents and drawings submitted by vendors and subcontractors. ● Verify and check electrical detailed designs for cable installation and equipment layout drawings.
● Analyze electrical problems and propose optimized solutions.
● Manage assigned electrical engineers and ensure their work meets quality, schedule, and budget requirements. ● Plan, schedule, monitor, and control electrical engineering projects.
● Develop typical design documents and drawings.
● Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines.
● Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative, prioritization, and self-management skills.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
● Minimum of 8 years of experience in renewable energy power plant electrical system design and engineering (e.g., solar PV, wind, battery energy storage).
● Strong initiative, fast learning ability, and enthusiasm for exploring new engineering knowledge.
● Excellent analytical skills and logical judgment.
● Proven problem-solving skills.
● Responsible and able to work under pressure.
● Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
