About the job :As a Liferay Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cutting-edge web applications. Your primary focus will be on ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and seamless user experiences for our clients. You'll be involved in the development and customization of Liferay-based web applications, portals, and collaborative tools. In addition, you'll contribute to the integration of Liferay applications with other enterprise systems, databases, and third-party applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and effective communication with team members are essential aspects of this role.Responsibilities :Development and Customization :Design and develop Liferay-based web applications, portals, and collaborative tools.Customize and extend Liferay functionalities to meet specific project requirements.Implement responsive web design to ensure optimal user experiences across various devices.Integration :Integrate Liferay applications with other enterprise systems, databases, and third-party applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.Collaboration and Communication :Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to understand project requirements.Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.Troubleshooting and Support :Identify and resolve issues related to Liferay applications.Provide support and maintenance for deployed applications, ensuring their stability and performance.Documentation :Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications.Document customizations, configurations, and integration points.Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Liferay Developer with a focus on Java development.Extensive hands-on experience with the Liferay platform, including Liferay DXP.Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices.Experience in designing and developing web applications, portals, and collaborative tools.Ability to customize and extend Liferay functionalities to meet project requirements.Strong integration skills, including connecting Liferay applications with other enterprise systems, databases, and third-party applications.Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project managers.Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in Liferay application development.Familiarity with code review processes and a commitment to maintaining code quality.Strong documentation skills, including creating and maintaining technical documentation for applications, customizations, configurations, and integration points.
