Job description

Team Leadership:

Supervise and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentoring.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the IT team.

Project Management:

Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.

Infrastructure Management:

Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
Implement and monitor security measures to protect the integrity of data and systems.

User Support:

Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues.
Ensure timely resolution of IT-related problems and user inquiries.

Software Development Oversight:

Oversee software development projects, collaborating with developers and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Coordinate with business units to understand software requirements.

Vendor Management:

Manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring the procurement of necessary hardware, software, and services.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize cost and value.

IT Policy and Compliance:

Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend updates to IT policies.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the IT budget, allocating resources effectively.
Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Data Backup and Recovery:

Implement and oversee data backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Develop and test disaster recovery plans.

Training and Development:

Provide training to IT staff to enhance their technical skills and keep them updated on industry trends.
Foster a culture of continuous learning within the IT team.

Reporting:

Generate regular reports on IT performance, project status, and key metrics.
Communicate IT-related updates to senior management.
