Job Description

Role purpose

This section describes the overall purpose of the role, why it exists and how it adds value to the business. It is a summary list of up to six statements for key result areas where the role holder will have decision making responsibility.

  • To meet the monthly CSP Targets in time both for domestic and exports by effective planning production in Foundation system, organising bulk readiness with the help of QA.
  • To track the KPIs set for the function area of material availability, capacity utilisation, toller performance and contract compliance.
  • Ensure compliance to applicable local regulations and company policy & guidelines of CoC (Code of Conduct), & HSE (Health Safety & Environment), at toller sites.
  • To ensure Optimum machine output by effective planning in advance POs for different activity like processing, treating and packing on daily basis.
  • To drive MRP by coordinating with P&L Planner and involve in validation and review of BOM from time to time with MDM.

Accountabilities

  • Prepare weekly and monthly processing and packing plans in consultation with toller and internal stake holders, and track & report achievement.Escalate issues in being able to make on time delivery of CSP as per set target date for every month and maintain agreed minimum buffer stock of fast moving products.
  • Generate effective communication, good relations and a positive image with internal and external stake holders.
  • Authorised to identify and corrective action of non conformance in documentation as per QA code of practices.
  • Prepare requirement plan of raw and packing materials to meet processing needs and coordinate with procurement team to ensure availability within defined stock cover limits.
  • Manage data entry in to foundation and also KPI file and publish report periodically (Weekly and monthly) to defined stake holders.
  • As a Key user initiate and resolve all plant related SAP issues by raisig smile cases in time and working with IS team to implement solution.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with the inventory and plant quality team to ensure stock status is updated and write offs minimised

Note:: This role is Plant based . Working days will be 6 days in a week.

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

  • A graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce with minimum 8 years work experience in planning activity of a multi- product continuous processing industry.
  • Must have extensive practical knowledge about Seeds Supply chain management and manufacturing operational system development.
  • Knowledgeable on change management processes and experience in Inventory handling and coordinate with other functions.
  • Hands-on experience of continuous improvement techniques
  • Implementation experience of Safety and Quality standards at a site

Critical experience

This concerns the type and minimum length of relevant experience required to effectively perform the role. This includes experience/familiarity with particular processes or systems, dealing with certain products or services, and/or the experience of dealing with others - both internally and externally.

  • Good English and computer literate
  • Must possess hands on knowledge of SAP and excel at advance level and understand various aspects of Seed Processing industry.
  • Knowledge on manufacturing tools in areas of process and materials efficiency, and production scheduling/planning.
  • Be familiar with modern management systems.
