Job Title : QA Lead/Senior QA EngineerKey Duties & Responsibilities :- Define Test Strategies: Develop comprehensive test strategies for Functional, Automation, Regression, and Smoke Testing to ensure thorough coverage of software testing activities.- Test Team Management: If applicable to the Lead role, effectively manage a test team, including task allocation, resource management, and performance evaluation.- Testing Processes Implementation: Understand and implement testing processes within the organization to streamline testing activities and improve efficiency.- Test Planning: Prepare functional and automation test plans aligned with project requirements and specifications.- Test Framework Deployment: Deploy and manage test frameworks to support testing efforts and increase automation coverage.- QA Tools & Processes Management: Manage and select appropriate QA tools and processes to enhance testing activities and improve outcomes.- Risk Identification: Identify and communicate risks during test planning and execution phases to stakeholders for mitigation.- End-to-End Testing Tasks: Lead or contribute to end-to-end testing tasks, including scoping, estimation, planning, test design, execution, defect management, progress tracking, status reporting, UAT support, and test closure.- Test Data & Environment Coordination: Plan and coordinate for timely availability of test data and environments to support testing activities.- Stakeholder Communication: Proactively communicate and collaborate with project teams, test teams, and support partners across different locations to ensure alignment and progress monitoring.- Post-Test Execution Activities: Ensure all post-test execution wrap-up activities are conducted according to established procedures and requirements.- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation abilities, to work effectively with teams across different functional levels.- Customer Focus: Maintain a customer-focused approach and demonstrate commitment to meeting project goals and delivering high-quality solutions.- Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive improvement opportunities within the QA space to enhance processes and outcomes continuously.Functional Knowledge :- Hands-on experience in Eagle Upgrade Project.- Defining Eagle upgrade Testing Strategy/Writing Test cases.- Sound Knowledge of Capital Market Domain/Various Asset classes and their life cycle.- Understanding of end-to-end testing in Eagle (Loading trade till sending the data to downstream systems/application).- Knowledge of Eagle Accounting Center V15, V17.- Understanding of Eagle Pricing Center, Eagle Position Viewer, Eagle PACE vs STAR, settlement process, and generation of final positions.- Familiarity with market data providers like Bloomberg, IDC, FACTSET.- Proficiency in Eagle Reference Data Centre V17.- Ability to handle large amounts of data, database querying, and comparison of data files.- Knowledge of Eagle Database structure and appropriate automation tools within TIAA.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Waterfall development processes.- Familiarity with Middle office platforms such as Portia, Investone, Geneva, etc.Technical Skills :- Understanding of data warehouse and ETL processes.- Hands-on experience with Eagle v17 Automation Center.- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.- Expertise in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.- Automation Scripting Experience with tools like QTP, Selenium, ETL Validator.- Debugging experience with Eagle Web Panel Designer.Qualifications & Industry Expertise :- Experience : 8 to 14 years of relevant work experience for both Team Members and Lead roles. Qualification : Graduation in Computer Engineering or related subjects.Nice to have :- Experience with Enterprise Automation (Robotic Process Automation, Workflows Automation). Performance Testing knowledge.- Testing Certifications such as ISTQB, HP UFT Certifications, PMP, and Oracle Certifications. (ref:hirist.tech)
