Job Description 1 Preventive, Predictive (Thermography, Vibration test and ferrography) and Breakdown Maintenance of all critical equipment 2Periodic maintenance of critical safety devices of all equipment 3Maintaining and improving Plant engineering performance matrix- Uptime, MTBF,MTTR and breakdown 4Identifying the root cause of major breakdowns by conducting Why-Why analysis 5Kaizen implementation on machines 6Preparation, up gradation of PM checklists and preparation of yearly PM Schedule 7Knowledge of mixing process. 8Machine spares management. Procurement/ repair of machine spares 9Knowledge on liquid filling machines/ capping/labelling machines 10Preparation of yearly spares budget of machines and adherence to budget 11Cost saving through frugal engineering, localization of maintenance spares, implementing energy saving ideas, improving fuel and electricity efficiency of energy guzzlers 12Maintenance , routine replacements of clean Utilities like HVAC system, chiller, compressed air and Complete building maintenance. Maintaining clean rooms environment and Distribution system, purified Water generation at the Site while complying with GMP and EHS requirements. 13Maintain and Monitor Clean Utilities in state of Compliance as per the set specifications including review of daily logbook and coordinating with agencies for scheduled testing & monitoring of clean rooms environment and purified Water system. 14Responsible for Preparation, Review & approval of validation, qualification, revalidation, requalification protocols/ reports. 15Review of facility layouts for Personal /material/waste flows/others, risk assessment, gap analysis & mitigation preparation. 16Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of validation and qualification processes. 17Developing and executing validation and qualification plans based on regulatory requirements and industry best practices. 18Lead preparation and execution of URS preparation, Quality review, Inspection, Protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ), FAT, DQ, Performance evaluations, facilities design, Manufacturing Equipment for process critical systems. 19Creating detailed validation protocols that outline the specific tests and activities to be performed. 20Follow site commissioning and qualification schedule, ensure that the engineering team follow & comply cGMP, GDP and GEP practices. 21Compliance to Factory act for pressure vessel testing/ hoist testing etc. related to engineering 22Managing external contractors for getting the job done 23Implementation of department related project 24Implementation of 5 S in the department and the working area. 25Review and Updating of SOP 26Supervision and adherence to safety standards- LOTO system, Machine guarding, permit systems ( Height, Hot, Confined space, pipe line etc.)27Maintenance and sustenance Integrated management system- ISO 9001 ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 systems 28Responsible for implementing OSHAS guide lines 29Responsible for developing a team of Diploma Technical Associates Learn more about 3M's creative solutions to the world's problems at or on Twitter @3M.
