Job description

Main Responsibilities

The scope of the role will cover the following areas:

  • Risk - Operational Risk Management: Supporting the Global Risk Team in overseeing the successful

implementation and execution of the Operatioanl Risk Management Frameworks within the business.

  • Geographies - Global
  • Fund Types - Fixed Income, Equities, Multi-Asset, Private Market/Alternatives

Responsibilities:

  • Support Global Risk and Compliance Committee ('GRCC') and its sub-committes.
  • Assist with the implementation of operational risk frameworks and their supporting policies.
  • Help conduct annual risk & self-control assessment reviews across entities and regions.
  • Support the identification, assessment and reporting on operational risk controls and indicators in line

with existing regulations and preparing for future changes.

  • Assist the lines of business with analysis, expertise, and problem solving as well as providing oversight.
  • Help identify and implement best practice operational risk process.
  • Support ongoing due diligence on outsourced service providers.
  • Close collaboration with and support for the Group Operational Risk function.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and initiatives related to operational risk management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent
  • Demonstrate experience in risk management at a Global Investment Management firm or equivalent in

the funds management area.

  • Working knowledge of financial products preferred: Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, Private Markets,

Derivatives, Foreign Exchange etc.

  • Comfortable presenting and interacting with Senior Management
  • Detailed knowledge of risk appetite, risk frameworks, and risk registers of investment funds and

investment businesses.

  • Familiarity with regulatory regimes related to investment adviser in the following jurisdictions are strongly

preferred: Ireland, United Kingdom, United States , Hong Kong , Taiwan and Singapore.

  • Strong orientation to details.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across multiple global jurisdictions with the ability and

willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environment to meet tight deadlines.
