Job Description

Objectives: The Asst. Manager defines and leads the contribution of Production teams to ensure the Factory delivers superior products at the right cost and on time. He/she contributes to and execute the operation of Evaporator & Spray Dryer, Factory Strategic Choices & Masterplan related to the section. He/she drives Damaway (Danone Management Way) Implementation and coaches the Production Teams towards Operational Excellence through Best Practices and Manufacturing Standards.

Objectives:

Role and Responsibilities:

1. To plan and review product mix manufacturing on daily /weekly levels to meet marketing requirements.

2. To coordinate with Supply Chain for shortages/material availability of Inputs (RM and PM) on regular basis

4. Guiding Shift officer for execution of production plan.

5. To monitor daily plant operations, manufacturing losses & yield. 6. To coordinate Evaporator & Dryer activities.

7. To Guide & coach Evaporator & Dryer team.

8. To achieve product targeted yields.

9. To purchases local consumables and chemicals for Evaporator & Dryer area.

10. To develop relevant report/data as required by department /management from time to time.

11. Ensure all SAP activities is carried out as per the DAN' Go guide lines.

12. Daily monitoring of plant efficiency to meet budgeted level norms.

13. Coordination with Engineering Department for maintenance job in production section well in time.

14. Use the WISE methodology to develop a zero-risk operating culture and guarantee a safe environment

15. Secure Product Superiority through minimized product variability and spec consistency using QFS guidelines

16. Lead the process for organizing, controlling and utilizing all resources, human and materials to maximize achievement of the Master plan of respective area.

17. Deliver the Productivity projects identified

18.Build and implement action plans to reduce environmental impact for his/her respective area

19. Implement DAMAWAY methodology AM/PM Pillar, Kaizen etc 

Food Safety Responsibilities

1. Establishing, Implementing & maintaining Food Safety requirement in Dryer & Evaporator area.

2. To ensure relevant Food safety training of all operator & concern people in the Dryer & Evaporator Section.

3. To ensure all CCP & OPRP are monitored & verified as per frequency.

4. To ensure all Food Safety related noncompliance reported to concern people & immediate action taken.

5. To ensure Food defense system is implemented properly.

6. To ensure that Food Safety & qualities policy are followed & implemented at Dryer & Evaporator area.

7. To act as a HACCP/ Food safety team member and provide the inputs related to Evaporator & Dryer section.

Job Specifications

• Education: B. Tech (Food Technology or Dairy Technology).

• Experience: 8-10 years of experience of plant operation & management (dairy & Food) in food industry. 

Experience in Evaporator & Spray Dryer is preferred.
