Job description
- Root cause analysis and countermeasure planning: Plastics and rubber parts.
( New development & Regular mass production )
- Planning for zero defect production lines setup at Vendors.
- PFMEA and required actions planning with vendors.
- Advance Quality planning for new parts development.
Capability & Skill development.
Work Experience
- Years of experience : Should have 3 5 years of relevant experience post qualification.
- Nature of experience : Knowledge of manufacturing process of Plastic molding & rubber parts.
vPart & Process evaluations preferable for new product development.
vAnalysis of Part Quality issues & countermeasure planning.
vNew product development activity planning.
- Industry preference: Automobile Industry
(4 wheeler /LCV / 2 Wheeler) & Electrical OEM Suppliers.
Educational Qualification.
- BE/B Tech in Mechanical / Polymer Engineering.
Competencies/ skills
- In depth knowledge of rubber & plastic moulding manufacturing process and best practices in similar industry.
- Expertise in checking fixture design & concept generation.
- Good understanding of raw material spec & usage areas.
- Knowledge of testing standards (IS / JIS / JASO / SES Etc.).
- Analysis and root cause identification of Quality issues of plastic & rubber parts.
- Practical application of Quality Control Tools, including theoretical background of SPC, Analytical tools and Six sigma.
- Working Knowledge of Tools / Dies & various inspection aids (gauges /Jigs / Fixtures / Test Rigs, Etc.).
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in lean , multi-tasking environment.
Ability to handle product development & production issues independently.
