Job Description : Storage Engineer will be responsible for the administration of a large multi-site storage environment with different storage technologies in SAN and NAS. Handling escalations from team and On-calls.Day To Day Responsibilities:1. Responsible for managing storage arrays of different types.2. Health check on Arrays on daily basis via script and tool3. Allocation/Deallocation/Decommission of storages4. Array performance troubleshooting4. Switch Management5. Responsible for handling project activities.6. Team HandlingJob Requirements:- Experienced in Administration of various EMC Storage Arrays like EMC PMAX, VMAX, EMC ISILON and EMC VNX.- New Storage Array Configuration from scratch- Experienced in Allocation and Reclamation on EMC Storage Arrays- Decommission of storage Arrays- Experienced in Zoning on CISCO SAN Switches, port channel configurations and handling switch performance related issues.- Experienced in File sharing via NFS and SMB protocol Isilon and VNX.- Experienced in Troubleshooting and Resolving Performance issue on various Storage Arrays (EMC PMAX, VMAX, EMC ISILON and EMC VNX).- Experienced in Storage SAN (NDM) and NAS Migrations tools.- Handling On calls- Working in US CST Business hours with timing flexibility (1.) To provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue (2.) To independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time (3.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (4.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts (5.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases
