Job description

Position: Director of Human Resources

Location: Chennai

Reporting : MD India

Budget: INR 65-80 Lakhs + ESOPs

Experience: 18+ years

Candidates coming from technology Industry preferred.

We are a dynamic and innovative technology organization based in Chennai. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and delivering cutting-edge solutions. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead our HR function.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Leadership: - Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives. - Drive the execution of HR initiatives to ensure timely and effective implementation.

2. Business Partnering: - Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and provide HR support to achieve them. - Act as a strategic partner, advising on human capital strategies that contribute to the company's growth.

3. Talent Acquisition: - Lead and oversee the talent acquisition process to attract and hire top-tier talent. - Develop innovative recruitment strategies to ensure a diverse and skilled workforce.

4. Succession Planning: - Create and implement succession planning initiatives to identify and develop high-potential employees. - Work closely with leadership to ensure a pipeline of talent for key roles.

5. Employee Relations: - Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations strategies. - Address employee concerns and proactively resolve issues to maintain a healthy workplace.

6. HR Processes and Compliance: - Oversee and optimize HR processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. - Implement best practices for performance management, employee engagement, and retention.

7. Budget Management: - Develop and manage the HR budget, optimizing resources to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. - Proven experience of 18+ years in HR leadership roles, preferably in the technology industry. - Strong strategic thinking and business acumen. - Demonstrated success in driving talent acquisition and succession planning initiatives. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
