Role Overview:

As the Sourcing Head, you will be responsible for leading our sourcing operations, developing and implementing strategies for procuring the best materials, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the highest standards of quality and cost-efficiency. You will play a crucial role in driving our product development initiatives and maintaining our competitive edge in the textile industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• · Develop and execute sourcing strategies for fibers, yarns, and fabrics to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

• · Manage and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards and continuous improvement.

• · Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and build long-term partnerships.

• · Collaborate with the product development team to identify and source new materials that align with market trends and company objectives.

• · Implement effective sourcing and procurement processes, including supplier selection, contract management, and risk management.

• · Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements in textiles sourcing.

• · Lead, mentor, and develop the organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• · Minimum 8 years of experience in sourcing or procurement within the textiles industry, with a proven track record of successful supplier management and strategy implementation.

• · Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology (B-Tech in Textiles) is required. A Master's degree (M-Tech) will be an added advantage.

• · Strong understanding of the textiles market, including fibers, yarns, and fabrics, both natural and manmade.

• · Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.

• · Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.

• · Effective problem-solving, analytical, and project management abilities.

Salary – As per Industry standards (Based on your current CTC)

Shift Timings – 9.30 am to 6.30 pm (Flexible)
